I’m curious to know your opinions in these two approaches on User Interfaces. I personally prefer dark version as its less annoying at night. I actually use this community in dark mode:
Actually, this should be a cool feature to add to Hackenoon

Absolutely!
I use dark mode for my Mac too.
My favorite blog with dark mode is this one.
We discussed potentially having it on Hacker Noon 2.0. Shouldn’t be too difficult.
I love dark mode! The idea of having it switchable (like this community) is a good option to cover both sides though. I wouldn’t have thought it would be too difficult to implement, but I don’t know what kind of structure the site is being/will be made from- any frameworks etc that could complicate or potentially ease the implementation.
I recently switched to dark mode and now I don’t think I could go back to normal!
For healthy eyes and less energy consumption, i prefer dark mode
But sometime i need light mode if i’m bored with dark mode.

I just don’t get the obsession with dark mode. I like it for more technical apps because it reminds me of a terminal. But I find it to often be more difficult to read, at least for consumer apps with thin fonts.
How to get dark mode in Android Firefox?
