Sorry about the wait, @h3ypb! Now published
Your story is now live on Hacker Noon.
It’s a pleasant read. Looking forward to more submissions from you.
No worries, thanks mate!
I have question about the stories published on Medium.
There is an option in story stats which says - You did not choose to make this story eligible for distribution in topics.
Is this something Hackernoon as publication can enable or we have to enable ? Need more clarity on this.
That’s quite misleading. By “distribution”, they mean putting your stories behind the paywall so other paying customers of theirs will see it.
We don’t recommend that option as most writers/readers on Hacker Noon don’t have Medium membership and will be blocked from reading the articles.
We do give each article extensive distribution via a combination of social media, newsletters, and others.
Kindly provide your feedback on my story. Its been 4 days since I submitted the draft on Medium
