Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) networks are considered to be the next stage in the evolution of blockchain network’s consensus mechanisms. The ability to return to ancient greek democracy in a decentralized, cryptographically secure and global manner is being tested in the past two years, and will continue to be tested over the next few years at the very least.
This was seriously a very deep dive. More like a research paper I’d say.
Honestly, didn’t read all of it, but did so in parts. And it’s really detailed and put things into perspective.
Really deep dive into the technology and a nice general overview of the blockchains. I was wondering why you left Steem and bitshares out which are also very traditional DPoS platforms. Especially Steem has interesting proposals in terms of rewards (Even though it doesn’t play out as well in practice).
